Sebastian River Medical Center

Roseland, FL

This project in Roseland, FL involved expanding the existing footprint and moving all Surgery and Support areas into a new Category 5 Hurricane-rated building. There were 5 phases defined:

The first expanded the bed count by 48 beds across 2 floors (24 beds each). Next, the main entrance was shifted to the west to take advantage of the larger parking lot, for visitors and for patients, in the rear of the building. The next phase called for a new Sterile Processing Department, 8 new Operating Rooms, and 3 minor procedure rooms, along with a new Physician’s room, and new staff lounges and locker rooms – to be featured on the main level. A new expanded Morgue, Pathology, and Pharmacy storage area were also created as the final phase of this project.
